SADDLE BROOK, NJ PROJECT

In this project, we wanted to achieve a great flow for our homeowners who love to entertain.  We designed a smaller upper patio while creating access from inside the home to the main patio.  We finished both patios with silver travertine.  

 

In this new patio, we were able to design and install a great outdoor kitchen with a built-in linear fire trough along the bar area to keep family and friends warm during those chilly Spring and Fall evenings.   Kids (and adults, too) love to take advantage of the fire right at the bar to make delicious smores.  Adjacent to the outdoor kitchen, a cozy deep seating set was placed around a custom granite rectangular fire pit creating another warm gathering place.  

 

Along the side of the pool, we extended the patio to accommodate the chaise lounges, and we incorporated another fire feature and a water spill into the pool.  We surrounded everything by perennials, shrubs, and a couple of fruit trees which was covered by a long linear pergola.  

 

On the opposite side of the chaise lounges, a fire pit dining table adds another inviting area to dine outdoors while enjoying the warmth of fire...yes, we have four different fire features in this project.  

 

To add the inviting warmth and depth to this property, we completed the outdoor kitchen and all planting beds with LED low voltage lighting.  The outdoor TV was the last element added to complete this small oasis.
